TECHNICAL VISIT 02
Hydrogen Laboratories
Institute of Power Engineering – National Research Institute
The Centre for Hydrogen Technologies (CTH2) leverages its scientific and technical potential to conduct research, develop and deliver market products, and provide comprehensive consulting services in the field. Additionally, it promotes knowledge of hydrogen technologies, with a special focus on the role of hydrogen in the ongoing energy transition. CTH2 brings together over 60 interdisciplinary researchers with expertise in such areas as process engineering, materials engineering, chemistry, physics, power engineering, automation and control engineering, and solid-state chemistry and physics. The Center for Hydrogen Technologies (CTH2) of the Institute of Power Engineering - National Research Institute was established in May 2020 as a response to new challenges in the development of hydrogen technologies in Poland. Team members of the Center coordinate and manage EU and national projects, provide advisory to policymakers and state administration, participate to international organizations and programmes. In the Center the development of SOE, SOFC, rSOC and systems which integrate solid oxide electrochemical cells in the range from 10 kW to 5 MW takes place. During the tour you will be able to see selected of the systems.
