The heat accumulator here is 47 meters high and has a capacity of 30,400 m³. The unit takes advantage of the fact that cold water does not mix with hot water provided that it is added carefully and slowly. Cold water (40 °C) is at the bottom, and hot water (95 °C) is kept at the top.
